Mobile app design for a company where a user can bid, negotiate, and oder grocery food items.
Problem: The mobile app, which allows users to set and negotiate prices on non-expired grocery items, had an outdated design that lacked visual appeal and failed to reflect its innovative purpose, resulting in low user engagement.
Solution: We initially explored a light, pastel flat design but found it too similar to the old version and uninspiring. Shifting to a dark mode with intensified colors and gradients, we maintained a flat look but still needed more uniqueness. We then adopted neumorphism, using brighter colors and gradients to enhance element distinction while preserving minimalism, creating an elegant and engaging UI that aligned with the app’s novel concept.
Outcome: The redesigned app’s distinctive, modern aesthetic increased user engagement by making the experience visually appealing. The fresh design better communicated the app’s innovative purpose, driving higher user interaction and satisfaction.
