Heyday

Mobile app design and brand identity for a social media app focused on location-based matching.

Problem: Heyday, a social media app, needed a design to help users connect through shared interests via matching and interest-themed channels, but lacked a cohesive brand and user-friendly experience to facilitate engagement.

Solution: We defined Heyday’s branding and visual language, then refined the UX and information architecture for seamless navigation. The design adopted a light, user-centric theme, blending Telegram’s conversational features with Nextdoor’s group functionality, ensuring an intuitive experience for users to match, post, and converse within interest-based channels.

Outcome: The streamlined design enhanced user engagement by simplifying connections through shared interests. Its intuitive interface increased interaction within channels, strengthening Heyday’s community-building mission and user satisfaction.
