Redesign of a loan application flow for a gig economy fintech.
Problem: Giggle, a platform offering instant working capital financing for 1099 workers and freelancers, faced high drop-off rates in their mobile app’s loan application process, hindering user conversions and limiting access to funds.
Solution: We analyzed user behavior to identify drop-off points, designing and testing multiple interface versions to determine the most effective visual cues. The redesigned mobile app interface (https://gigglefinance.com) streamlined the application process, incorporating user-friendly visuals and intuitive navigation to encourage completion and improve the overall experience for independent workers seeking financing.
Outcome: The updated app increased conversion rates by at least 7%, reducing drop-offs and enabling more freelancers to access instant funding, aligning with Giggle’s mission to support self-employed professionals.
