Problem: Chase needed to integrate group and split request payment features into their web and mobile banking, enabling users to split bills or request individual amounts from multiple contacts, but lacked a seamless solution that aligned with their existing payment offerings.
Solution: We researched competitors, conducted user testing, and designed a solution that seamlessly integrates group and split request features with Zelle. The intuitive UI/UX, with automated bill-splitting calculations and batch request capabilities, ensured a minimal learning curve, making it easy for users to adopt and use the new features across Chase’s platforms.
Outcome: The new features boosted user request rates by 28% and Zelle signups by 12%, becoming one of Chase mobile’s most widely used functionalities, enhancing user engagement and payment efficiency.
