Mobile app design for the Chase mobile banking app.
Problem: Chase’s "Single Door" mobile app project aimed to unify payment channels like Zelle, Credit Card Payments, Bill Pay, and Payment Requests, previously scattered across web and mobile, to simplify user transactions and boost adoption of online payments.
Solution: We collaborated with Chase’s payments tribe to ideate core features, analyzing competitor mobile payment apps to ensure a competitive edge. We designed the UI and visuals for key modules, including “Fast Pay” for credit card payments and “Group/Split Request” for batch payments, integrating them seamlessly into the app for a streamlined user experience.
Outcome: The app became one of the most adopted mobile banking platforms, with our designed features enabling tens of millions of daily transactions, significantly enhancing payment efficiency and user adoption.
