Redesign of the credit card payment user experience and interface for online banking.
Problem: Chase’s online credit card payment process at Chase.com was outdated and cumbersome, requiring users to navigate multiple pages without an intuitive return path, leading to a frustrating experience and low payment efficiency.
Solution: We reimagined the payment flow with Fast Pay, a slide-in panel design that lets users schedule and make payments directly from the account dashboard. The intuitive UI offers clear options to pay the statement balance, minimum payment, or full balance, while allowing users to schedule and view payments without losing sight of their account overview.
Outcome: Fast Pay was quickly adopted by users and integrated into Chase.com, becoming the primary payment method. It streamlined the process, significantly improving user satisfaction and payment completion rates.
